Jesus Love Is Conditional

Jesus love is conditional and we will prove it with scripture

Heb: 11-6) 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

(1Jn-4-16) This is who God is, (God is love.)
(Prov. 8-17) God said: I love them that love me. This is conditional.

Question: How do you love Jesus?

(Jn-14-15) if you love me keep my commandments, verse 21; He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. God's love requires you to hear the law and do it

(Prov, 28-9) He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination. (Ja-1-22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Deut. 7, 9-10) 9 Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; 10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him; he will repay him to his face.

Christians are confused about the law because so much has been said about it. They don't know which laws have been done away with or which laws are here to stay. It was the law of animal sacrifice and oblation that were nailed to the tree at the death of Jesus. (Dan: 9-27) The Ten Commandments are forever. (Ps: 111-7, 8) (Rom: 7-12, 14)

For what purpose; they are the standard God expect every Christian to live by. (Ex: 20-1, 17; 22) (Deut: 4-12, 13) (Deut: 5-6, 22) Ecc,12,13

Here is the bible definition of sin: (1Jn:3-4) 4 whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. There is no justification in the law, it reveals sin. (Rom: 3-20)

(Jn: 14-23) if a man love me he will keep my words, this is conditional

Let me interject here that this God we are talking about is the same one that destroyed all living except Noah and his family plus the animals Noah was instructed to put in the ark. (Gen: 7-1, 16). Why? Because of rebellion and no fear toward God and his word.

While we are in Genesis let us hear who God says man is. (Gen: 6, 3) 3 And the Lord said, my spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.) .....

As we continue speaking on God's conditional love, this is the God that killed the first born in Egypt man and beast whose family didn't have the blood of a male lamb of the first year without spot over the upper post of the door and on the two side post when the death angel came through at midnight. (Ex: 12-1, 17).(In Numb: 20-8) God told Moses to speak to the rock, verse (11) he smote the rock; an act of disobedience that kept him from entering the promise land (Numb: 12-3).

Jesus said (Jn: 15-14) ye are my friends if you do whatsoever I command you. Obey and do!

Look at (Rom: 8-13) for if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. Flesh mean if you live after your carnal mind. If you through the Spirit or by the word die to the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

(Is:59-1,2)
Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

(Mk: 11-25, 26) And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

(Deut: 8-18, 20) But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. 19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the Lord thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. 20 As the nations which the Lord destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the Lord your God.

(Josh: 1-8) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

(Matt.: 25-12) In the parable of the ten virgins all have confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior; five are convinced that confession is enough. The other five thought it necessary to do what it takes to enter into the kingdom.

When the bridegroom came, those that were ready went with him to the marriage and those that were not God's reply was I never knew you.

Question: how do you know God?

Answer: (1Jn 2, 3-4) and hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. (Prov: 14, 12)

(Ecc: 12-13, 14) 12; Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:

Some still have questions about who is my neighbor?

I will continue to answer you according to the scriptures; Another lesson from Jesus about who is my neighbor;

 Lk:10,25-37
25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Who is your neighbor? anyone that need your help and you can supply it. The Priest nor the Levite saw this man as a neighbor, but as someone that would be a burden and cause delay and keep them from doing their business or accomplish whatever it was they were after.

Everybody is your neighbor, do what you can because one day you will need help. Jesus said give to them that ask Lk:6-11

An example of the unforgiving servant. This person needed mercy and it was given to him, but when mercy was asked of him he refused and became bitter. Is this you? Look what Jesus said;

Matt:18,21-35
Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.
29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.
32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
